You don’t have to ready every day; just on the days you eat.
Our Classroom Reading Genres
As part of the 4th grade curriculum, students need to identify and discuss a variety of reading genres. In our class I have created some reading goals that encourage students to read from a variety of genres. I also have each student present a “Book Talk” every six days. Book talks are oral, informal presentations students give to “advertise” the book they are reading or have read. We will still do written book reports but will less frequent.
